Campaign Information As a precursor to eCommerce, Dotti wanted to develop a new online community, Dotti Nation, to promote loyalty and social interaction amongst its fashion obsessed female customer base.
Dotti’s objective was to create hype around the new Web site and build loyalty, site traffic and the customer database, ahead of an eCommerce launch later this year. The project launched in April 2010.
Dotti Nation uses Facebook Connect that enables use of Facebook functionality without leaving the Dotti Nation site. Dotti’s target audience are avid Facebook users, so having this functionality at the core of the Web site makes perfect sense.
The site puts Dotti’s loyal followers in charge of the content and allows them to interact with the brand in a fun and social online environment.
